A Time of Sadness

We at the Temple Terrace Leaguerettes are profoundly saddened by news of the loss of Mike Crim, who was taken from this earth much too soon.  The Crim family will be in our thoughts and prayers.  We hope your memories will give you strength.

Mark Your Calendar for the Spring Season Player Evaluations

Player evaluations for the Spring season will take place on Saturday, November 21 as follows:

Pixies (ages 6-9) 9:00 am
Pigtail & Ponytail (ages 10-17) 10:00 am

Team and coaches pictures for the Fall season are now available for download on the Teams web page. Just right-click on the hyperlink of the picture, and select "Save Target As" (if using Internet Explorer) or "Save Link As" (if using Firefox). You can then save the picture in .JPG format to your hard drive.

Spring Registration is Under Way!

Register early to take advantage of our early registration discounts. Registration dates and pricing are as follows:

Ages 6 - 17:
October 1 - December 31..............$100

Ages 4 - 6 (that is, 6-yr olds with NO experience) will play Pee Wee T-ball, the fee is only $55.

Just fill in the registration form and take it to the Rec Center. Skill evaluation dates and times will be posted soon.

Games Cancelled Due to Rain Rescheduled

Games that were rained out on September 12 are being rescheduled as follows:

Dolphins vs. Dynamites is rescheduled for September 26 at 10:30 am on Field #2
Sharks vs. Thunderbirds is rescheduled for October 3 at 11:30 am on Field #1

Fall Season Information

UPDATE: Late registrations are being accepted at the Rec Center!

The first game of the Fall Instructional Season will be held this Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 am.

The Pixie Division will have two teams: the Rays Dynamites and the Dolphins. Games will be played on Saturdays at 9:00 am on Field #1. Coaches will be contacting the players soon with details regarding practices and what time to arrive for games.

The Pigtail Division will have two teams: the Sharks and the Thunderbirds. Games will be played on Saturdays at 10:15 am on Field #1. Coaches will be contacting the players soon with details regarding practices and what time to arrive for games.

Unfortunately we were just a few players short of being able to round up enough Pony players to form a team.

As soon as I have practice schedules, I will post them.

Fall Registration Deadline Extended!Register Today!

The registration deadline for the Fall Season has been extended to September 5! You can fill in the registration form online and print it and take it to the Temple Terrace Rec Center, or fill out the form in person at the Rec Center.

Other important dates:

Practice and game schedules will be posted in the near future. Teams are being formed right now in ALL divisions, including the Ponytail Division, so don't delay registering!

Monthly General/Board Meetings

Regular meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in a conference room at the Temple Terrace Rec Center. Parents are encouraged to attend and provide input. The next meeting will be on July 14. We hope to see you there.

Leaguerette player gives beads to a young parade spectatorTemple Terrace 4th of July Parade

Thank you to the many players, parents and coaches who represented the Temple Terrace Leaguerettes in the City's 4th of July parade yesterday. Even when it rains on our parade, we still have a lot of fun! There are a few pictures from the parade in our Photo Gallery.

Temple Terrace 4th of July Parade Info

Our staging for the 4th of July Parade will begin after 8:30 am on 113th Avenue, which is the street behind Greco Middle School. The parade procession will begin at 10:00 am. For July 4th only, 113th Avenue will be a one-way street heading West. Our Unit number is R-53. This will be on display in our specific location. Please be sure your Leaguerette wears her Leaguerette uniform or All-Star t-shirt. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended.

Limited drop-off and parking will be available at Lewis Elementary School. It is necessary that you have transportation waiting for your Leaguerette for pickup at the end of the parade route at Terrace Plaza, which is near the Southeast corner of the intersection of Bullard Parkway and 56th Street. Come One, Come All and Join the Parade

The Temple Terrace Leaguerettes will take part in the 4th of July parade and we need you to be a participant! Leaguerette players can ride on the antique fire truck or walk behind it and show your Leaguerette spirit by tossing goodies to the kids. It is about a two mile walk/ride which starts at 10:00 am. Expect to be contacted by your coaches to confirm your participation in the festivities.
